Privacy
donesum is developed and operated by Max Karadeniz. Contact hello@donesum.app with privacy questions.
The app is in development. This policy describes its planned personal tracking and backup features.
Data on your device
The app stores activity names, repeat intervals, completion times, completion history, archive state, avatar choices, and settings on your device. It uses this data to show elapsed time, history, due states, and widgets. You do not need a donesum account.
Personal tracking works without cloud backup. donesum does not upload activity data to a tracking server or use it for advertising or analytics.
Optional Google Drive backup
On Android, you can connect Google Drive. Google handles account authentication and asks you to authorize backup access. donesum uses that authorization to create, list, read, restore, and manage snapshots in its private application-data folder. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files.
Snapshots contain your activities, history, avatar choices, and app settings. Data downloaded from Google Drive is used for backup and restore. It is not sold or used for advertising. donesum does not receive your Google password.
donesum's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google also applies its privacy policy to its services.
Optional iCloud backup
On iOS, you can enable backup in donesum's iCloud container. The app uses the iCloud account configured on your device. Apple handles account authentication. Snapshots contain the same activity data and settings as portable exports. Apple applies its privacy policy to its services.
Retention and restore
Automatic backup targets one changed-data snapshot per day when the platform permits it. The app retains up to 30 successful daily snapshots per device archive. It removes older snapshots only after a complete new backup is confirmed. Exact daily timing is not guaranteed.
Disconnecting backup stops future uploads. It does not automatically delete existing cloud copies. You can manage stored application data through your provider's account controls. Device backup services can retain separate copies under their own settings.
You can export your activity data and settings to a portable file. You control where that file is saved or shared. Restore replaces current app data after a preview and confirmation. The app keeps a local recovery copy of the data present before restore.
Your control
You can review and correct completion history, archive activities, export data, and disable cloud backup. Archiving preserves an activity's history. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data. These actions do not automatically remove cloud backups or exported files.

Changes
This policy covers personal tracking and optional backup. Changes to data handling will update this page and the app's relevant disclosures.
